Movie Review: Crazy Rich Asians

For those who know me, they know that I love going to the movies. I'm so excited to start talking about movies here on the blog, and I'm even more excited that it's about this amazing movie. 

I haven't read the book, mostly because it's never been there at my two local bookstores when I go in to find it. If this is your biggest concern, you will be happy to know that I have ordered the book online and it is currently being shipped so I can finally read it. 

Here's something else you need to know about me: I'm not a romantic. I find romance movies annoying, but this was surprisingly not. 

What I loved about this movie is that it showed aspects of being not only Asian but the traits which also exist within the South-Asian culture and for those like myself, of Asian descent. Everything about this was relatable in some sort of way. 

The costumes are to die for. The music is soothing. Everything is so beautiful, you don't know where to look, There are times where you might laugh, you might shed a tear, and there is a part where you will be quite upset, but this is a movie you will just love. So I highly recommend that you get yourself to the movie theatre and watch this.
