Rewatching Naruto

I woke up with the bright idea of rewatching hands down one of the best anime I've ever watched- Naruto... from the beginning.

Yep, you read that right from the very freaking beginning.

I've recently finished the first season, and I figured we could make a series about this. I'll be very brief with my show's synopsis because you really should if you haven't watched it yet.

Naruto originally aired from 2002 to 2007, with Naruto Shippuden airing from 2007 to 2017. So it's been around for some time.

The series contains a total of 726 episodes and 10 movies ( it's actual 11, but Boruto doesn't count)

Before we meet our adorable hero, we learn that the 4th Hokage trapped a nine-tail fox demon in the body of a newborn baby boy. We then flash forward to meet a mischievous Naruto Uzumaki, a 12-year-old orphan who is learning how to become a ninja and dreams of becoming to Hokage of his village.

In this series, we meet the principal cast: Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura & Kakashi (he's everything, don't @ me). We don't actually know his parents or what happened to them, but Naruto is alone, and the villagers treat him like scum.

Naruto is influenced to steal a scroll containing forbidden Jutsu, and with this scroll, he learns to create multiple shadow clones.

Once he graduates, he joins Team 7. After a hilarious initiation day, Naruto carries out tasks for the village with his team. Then, craving adventure Naruto asks for something more challenging and heads off to escort a traveller to his town.

Little do they know, the traveller lied about why he requested protection and is hunted down by hired ninja goons trying to stop him from reaching his home and completing his task of creating a bridge to connect his island village to the mainland.

The group is attacked by a ninja known as Zabuza during this mission. While fighting, we learn that daddy Kakashi possesses something exciting- a Sharingan, an ability for those who have this to see an opponent's attacks before they happen. This gift is passed down through the Uchiha clan, which Sasuke happens to belong to. They believed Zabuza was dead after their fight was interrupted by a member of the tracking squad, or so they thought.

Haku is Zabuza's, right-hand man. His companion was found orphaned on the streets and has stuck by his side.

During a climactic fight on the unfinished bridge with Haku, Sasuke's Sharingan is triggered while trying to protect Naruto, but he's unable to beat him. This is where we learn the truth- Naruto is the baby that the 4th Hokage sealed the demon.

In the end, Zabuza and Haku are killed, and there is not a person who has a dry eye.

Thank you from the villagers for his enthusiasm and contagious smile; the villagers named the bridge the great Naruto bridge.

After returning from their mission, Team 7 is informed of the upcoming Chunin exams. During the exam, the rookies are tested and must go through these challenges to have their Ninja status upgraded.

During each test, they have to use their ability as ninjas from their ability to be discreet and survive, with the goal being to stay each task and make it to the final level.

That's all for this post. Make sure to check back soon for the next post!
