June 2020

Hello, my loves!

I hope you are all well.

Can you believe that we are halfway through 2020?

This month, I wanted to focus a lot on getting back into the groove of working out. I have been neglecting over the past few weeks and it's about time to get back to it.

Making use of the time at home, I have started a project where I've collected the photographs and negatives from everyone in my family and I am now scanning, labelling and archiving all the pictures.

Doing this has made me very emotional. My family is ridiculously huge and looking at these pictures, I have looked upon the faces of family members that I've lost, of members that we've lost touch with and those I have never seen before.

This project is very important to me. I've been studying history for years and I've learned all sorts of things. There is one morbid reality that, even though I have faced it before has become a very prevalent thought, death. We are not getting younger and in order to pass down my family's history, I have decided to do this.

While doing this, I've got a few posts planned for this month including some great shows, some books and a few recipes for you to enjoy!
