Beware! Content Writing Scammers.

Hi everyone! I know that this post seems quite out of place, but I can assure you that there is a reason for this.

I have recently begun content writing and had advertised my service on a Facebook Group for writers. My ad was responded to by a guy who said that they are looking for someone who can write articles on the Marketing and Technology niche and asked that I write a 500-word sample article with my topic being the Best Keyword Research Tools. He stated that upon completion and if my writing met their standards, that I could be writing for them on a part-time or full-time base and receive payment for my work. I completed this article and sent it to him, thanking him for the opportunity.

A few days after emailing him the article, I sent a follow-up message, which he read. This whole situation seemed very odd and I had sent another follow-up message, this time to his email address that was provided for me to submit my work. To date, I have sent a total of 5 messages to him with no response. Some acquaintances that I have gained in the industry suggested that there is a high possibility that this person lied to get out of paying.

Which is why I am posting this to warn others of this trend that seems to be happening. Being someone that is still very new to this scene, I am very grateful to those who have helped me so far in this journey. While it has been hard to start, I'm slowing getting the hang of it.

To read my work, please send me an email for a link to my portfolio page.
