A little secret about myself-- I'm a sucker for anything history related, so I'm sure you could understand my delight when I found Alias Grace on Netflix.
Alias Grace is based on the life of Grace Marks, who was an Irish Immigrant in Canada who worked as a maid on a farm in Richmond Hill. In 1843, Grace and a fellow servant on the farm were charged with the murder of the owner and the housekeeper.
While Canadian series can usually be a hit or a miss, this show was very well done!
