寿司と刺身

It all started in High School. I'd go to the gas station by my school and like many gas stations in North America, they double as a small convenience store with meals, grocery items and random things that one might need.

Who would have thought that gas station crab rolls would fuel a deep love and possible obsession with sushi?

I'm serious, I love sushi! Now I have tried a ton of different places, but I do have my two favourites: Heart Sushi, and Iron Sushi which I will write a post about later in the month.

Heart sushi is a relatively new sushi place that has opened up in the GTA a few years ago. There is currently one location in Mississauga, one in London, Ontario and another in Toronto. For those of us who lived in the GTA, there was once another one on Hurontario and Bristol, which was unfortunately destroyed by a fire (RIP).

This restaurant is a great place for AYCE (all-you-can-eat). It can get really packed at times, but the wait is worth it.

Confession Time: I haven't gone to the restaurant in some time, but I eat their food all the time with the helping hand of UBER Eats. I'll make sure that going forward any items I get through UBER eats I'll let you know.

The other day as I hid in my basement from the smouldering heat that we are currently experiencing here in Southern Ontario while wearing sweats *rolls eyes* I ordered in from Heart Sushi. The Sushi and Sashimi box is a great set for one or two, depending on how much you can eat.

One of my go-to's: The Sushi Set with 6 pcs of California roll, 12 pcs of chef's choice sushi along with salad, rice and miso soup (not pictured because I devoured it before I could even take a picture.
